Chloe's Mornings

O.K. so I guess I have a DIVA in my family, my little Chloe just knows what she wants and pretty much makes sure she gets it! I guess that could be a good thing but at times it DRIVES me CRAZY!!!!! This is Chloe in the morning. 6:45 a.m. I start her bath then wake her up, walk her to the bath, she gets in and sits indian style until the water gets to the right depth then she turns off the water lays down so just her face is above water then I let her lay there for about 5 minutes then I sit her up pour shampoo on her head and she scrubs it. then she lays back down and I rinse it. she gets back u[ and I put conditioner on her head and she likes to scrub it all over her hair then comes the FUNNY part she lays down and flips her hair back and forth back and forth then I swish it for her and get the conditioner out. THEN she gets the soap and lathers it so it is really really foamy and scrubs her whole body then rinses and lays back down and takes another nap till the water is fully drained out of the tub. She gets out towel dries and and then sits in her closet for about another 3 minutes in her towell and then gets dressed. All this time she is silent and doesnt talk unless you break her routine then woooooaaaaaahhhhhhhh watch out! so I just let her do her thing. Then the FUN begins I do her hair and while drying it I keep her busy putting lotion, perfume and Jewelry on. Then she walks down stairs, eats and gives her dad and me a hug and a KISS and she is a HAPPY, FUN, TALKATIVE girl the rest of the day! I guess I wrote about this because I have not a child like this and even though she is demanding in the morning I guess I kind of like that she needs me and likes me to take care of her in the morning. I LOVE Chloe and I LOVE her little personality.

Bo's birthday PARTY

Today we had a FUN birthday Party for Bo. It was centered around the show CARS theme. We played a bunch of games including the Newspaper game and the NASCAR race game. Each kid got to take home a bag with a car and pit necklace and stickers and stuff. Bo had a Great time. His friend Dakota came to the PARTY and when she got here I asked her if she was excited for the PARTY and she said OHHHHH Yes I couldnt sleep last night , thats all I dreamed about. I thought that was cute coming out of a 4 year old.

Brittany turned 16 yesterday. I cried all day thinking about what a GREAT daughter she is. I have thought about her birthday for a long time and I wanted to get her something special. To let her know how much I LOVE her and wanted her to remember her birthday. I bought her a Juicy bracelet that she could add charms to for other special ocasions. I also took her cinnamon rolls to her cheer class in the morning and then picked her up from school and took her to get her official driver licence. then surprized her with a birthday Party that night. I guess my little Bo is very little anymore. He is all grown up! Today he turned 5. Sooooo at 5 his favorite color is red favorite NFL team Pittsburg Steelers Favorite NCAA football team Utah UTES Favorite sport FOOTBALL favorite food Italian chicken and rice favorite treat BIG hershey candybar favorite thing to do Snuggle with MOM favorite friend Tanner Cook and Bo loves to hang out with his cousin Max and Brady Bo had a FUN day today it started out with Play group then he went to school, had his favorite home cooked dinner and opened presents. He got a bunch of things but his favorite was his bee bee gun. (Paul has given our boys each one when they turn five and teaches them about gun safety and only shoots when hes with his Dad.) Another one of Bo's things he likes to do is hunt with his dad, brothers and Grandpa. After that we went and watched Rileys basketball game, had cake and party hardy! Sunday we will celebrate with Grandma and Grandpas Aunts and Uncles and Cousins oh and stay tuned for his friend birthday party on the 15th! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BO! I LOVE YOU!!!!! XOXOXOXOXO

New Orleans SUGAR BOWL

Paul and I had the opportunity to go to the Sugar Bowl this year with our friends Jason and Niclole and and their parents and Jeff and Jenny. Nicloe's brother Jay is the special teams coach for the U. New Years Eve we had a delicious dinner I had flounder and Paul had stuffed filet mion. thats one thing New Orleans is known for is their good food. We also walked down bourben street half way and got some beads people thow them down at you. It got a little rowdy so we got off the street and went to the marriot and hung out in the hospitality room where all the U teams families hang. We got free food and drinks and just talked and met a lot of nice people. They also had incredible fireworks! I have never seen so many go off all over the place we were on the 34th floor and had a great view of the city and the whole sky was lit up! kind of cool. The other days we shopped walked around saw some cool sites went to the flee market and even a cooking class! Went to the Parade and pep ralley for the Sugar Bowl saw Pauls Brother Joe and the Lamberts. The BEST and FAVORITE part of New Orleans was the SUGAR BOWL!!!! We had so much FUN cheering, eating visiting and sitting by family of the Coaches and players. The biggest highlight for Paul was to go on the field during the 3rd quarter he was rubbing shoulders with the players thats how close he was. I wish I could of got a picture of him but he took my camera and took some awesome pictures of the game. My highlight was after wards we walked the streets to get Superbowl shirts and ran into the quarter back Brian Johnson he signed my T-shirt I was wearing and Paul took a picture of us. Go Utes undefeated and won the super bowl. Best game I have ever seen!!!!!We had GREAT weather and even played in the rain and took the fairy. We had such a great trip we never knew what time it was and ended up going to bed everyday at 3to4 in the morning. I wasnt that tiered till we got home, I got the kids off to school and then you said it I snoozed till 2:00 pm with breaks of coarse. Thanks Fox's and Hills for a fabulous time!!!!!!! I did miss you kids though and thank you Grandma Kia for watching them and keeping them safe.

WithPaul and I leaving town over New years we decided to have New years Eve a couple days earlier so we had Pauls brother Mark and his family over and the Sehestedt's to help celebrate. We played games literally ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT had TREATS and PIZZA and Mark and his family even slept over I think it was after 6:00am that we finally went to bed. It was well worth the FUN!!! We even lit a few fire works (we were kind of nice this year didnt want to wake our neighbors. The next day which was our pretend New years we got up and played more games and then Paul cooked up the steaks Chris and Jaime gave to us. They were delicious and what a way to start the NEW YEAR!!!!!!! THANKS guys for the PARTY!!!!!!!

Are you kidding me? Christmas is not ove yet! No WAY not until we see the kids GREAT grandpa Bunker and Aunt Leanne. Its always FUN to see them on Christmas they always have a spread of FOOD for us and tells us good stories about what happens to them and Grandpa ALWAYS has a goody bag for all the kids and Aunt Leanne gave us more recipes to add to our book she gave us last year with homemade cute little bags with a cookie cutter and the COOKIES to go with it! We LOVE her and the time she puts into us for CHRISTMAS.

Oh yeah the days not over yet! There is still more FUN to be had. Grandma Kia has lunch for us and WHAT more presents. This year Grandma Kia made the boys a eagle treasure box something they will cherish forever. She made Paul one a long time ago and he still has his. Grandma also made the girls little jewelery boxes and gave them each a CTR ring. Grandma T is always there she is 95 years old and still keeps up with us. Lisa made really cute plaques for us and Chris and Jaime gave us steakes for the WHOLE family. Thanks guys we love you!!!!!!

Christmas morning is a tradition at my parents. We all arrive at 11:00 and my Mom and Dad have homemade egg and sausage Muffins with OJ. Then the Party begins! Grandma and Grandpa gave all the boys Hoody sweatshirts of their favorite team and the girls got Hurley Girl jackets they are soooo CUTE! The older girls Brittany and Kate got a Cute card with a 50 dollar bill! They know that girls just want to have FUN!!!!!

Christmas morning in our home starts at 5:30 in the morning. The kids make sure all cameras are ready the night before. The kids come wake us up and wait in our room till Paul and I get up and then we stay at the top of the stairs and go down together. This year Santa brought ... Paul.............snowboarding boots Heidi...........wii fit Brittany.....camera Riley...........golf clubs Rocky........PSP Bryce.........IPOD Chloe..........Hannah Montana doll house Bo...............BIKE The kids left Santa a note and pretzels Chloe made and Santa wrote back that we were all pretty good this year except for a couple slip-ups but he said even SANTA forgives. He told us NEVER to forget about doing things for others and reminded us how blessed we are. Needless to say our morning started out AWESOME!!!!!

After Grandma Kia's we came home and The kids got to open of one present which of coarse is a tradition so its hard to keep it a surprise. So they opened their jammies and then Paul read the Christmas story and shared his testimony of our savior and then read bed time stories to the kids. The kids LOVE this PARTY Santa gives each kid a little stocking with treats and 15 dollars. We also have a great time eating GREAT food and visiting with family. Oh man we lost by one goal!!! Oh well we won all of our games but this one. The kids had a GREAT season of Futsal its actually one of my favorite games to watch because theres only 4 on the court besides the goalie and its really fast pace. Rocky you did awesome bud!

Paul, Bo and I were able to go watch our kids perform in the choir concert over at Eaglecrest. Rocky, Chloe and Bryce did a very good job! Performing really isnt the boys thing but Chole on the other hand I think she was born to SING!!!! Way to go kids you were CUTE!!!!!

Cousin Sleepover

After the Party last night some of the cousins slept over. We let them play till 11:00 p.m. and then we put in a movie and they all slept in the family room. We woke up in the morning to beautiful FLUFFY snow! The kids were sooooo excited, We all jumped in the car and went and watched Rocky's futsal game he did awesome and his team won so they play the championship game tomorrow. Anyway we came home the kids got on their snow gear and they have been outside in the snow ever since. Pauls been taking the kids around on tubes behind the 4wheeler and we happened to pick up a few friends on the way. Needles to say I think the kids are enjoying their school break!

We get together a couple Sundays before christmas with my Mom and Dad and sisters and their families and have dinner, play games and open presents from each other. We save Christmas day to give presents to Mom and Dad and they save ours till that day too! My Dad shared the Christmas story and a little presentation on the T.V. I love how my Family is so much FUN but always has a way of bringing the gospel into our family. It's always a short message but never will we forget that about my parents. Thank you Mom and Dad for being examples of sharing the gospel and good values to us.

Our friends the Loefflers had a FUN family Christmas PARTY we all met at Thanksgiving Point Movie theater and watched the GRINCH! That is one of our FAMILIES favorites! Last night we had a FUN FAMILY night at the Smiths home. The Sehestedts came too. we had a FUN night playing games together. We played Scattagories and Taboo. And you cant beat going to the Smiths home and having homemade cranberry cheese cake! Way to go Leslie it was delicious is there anything you cant make! TWISTERS cheer competition

Today was Chloe's first cheer competition. Both Brittany and Chloe cheer for the same Cheer company called TWISTERS. Brittany's team took 1st place and Chloe's took 2nd. They both qualified to go to nationals in Vegas this April. Looks like another GNO!!!!! Way to go girls you both did awesome! Also thanks fans for coming to watch!

Yesterday for Family Night we had my Mom and Dad over for dinner and then some of my sisters and their families met us at our home for donuts and then off we went to the Live Nativity in Alpine. We have gone every year for five years and thought this time we would share it with cousins. We all had a FUN time and the kids were so cute and interested in finding baby Jesus that when we went in the barn where he was everyone was so quiet and just sat watching the little baby Jesus. I love going it really brings the SPIRIT in CHRISTMAS and why we really celebrate it. The weather was a little cold but having the snow on the ground really made it feel like CHRISTMAS.

St. George Rocky's Soccer Tournament

What can I say Rocky and his TEAM are CHAMPIONS again this is the second year in a row that That Rocky's team has one this tournament. This is a Fun trip , we stay at the Fox's home and hang out with them and then go to Rocky's games and hang out with the team. Theres a New restaurant called... I forgot but its a Pirate Pizza place and it was AWESOME!!!! We also had a picnic in the park and played games and Paul and his friend Jeff took some of our boys hunting in the early mornings. WOW I didnt know you could hunt stuff in St. George CRAZY FUN anything that will make my boys HAPPY!!!!! Anyway we had a GREAT time but the HIGHLIGHT was definatley Rockys soccer games and it was also fun because he was chosen to be captain for the tournament. Way to go ROCKY!!!!

Grandma Kia's Thanksgiving

Paul's Mom Known as Grandma Kia had Thanksgiving at her home this year. She sure worked hard and I didnt even have to bring a thing. She is very thoughtful and knew that we were leaving for St. George after our visit. We had a GREAT dinner and holy cow Chris I think we had 15 pies for about18 people thats about a pie per person. Lets just say we EAT well at the BUNKER family PARTIES! I am truly thankful for my family and for are extended families and for all the wonderful blessings my Heavenly Father has blessed me with this year. What a RIOT to watch these CUTE boy's make cookies for there Sunday School teacher. Last week there Sunday school teacher Bro and Sis Lemmon took the class to BYU flew airplanes off the top of the stadium and played football on the field. then they gave each boy money to buy any food they wanted. Riley LOVED LOVED LOVED going to BYU. He is the only Y fan in our family but I am proud he sticks to what he LOVES and is himself. His DREAM is to go to the Y with his FRIENDS. Dunroe Family Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving with my family on Sunday because this year is Pauls Moms turn to have it. We had such a great time! I dont like yams but my sister Lisa makes the BEST!!!! Paul and I got off easy this year Paul usually makes the pumpkin pie but this year we were assigned Rolls and Jam can you say EASY!!!!! It was a FUN time we played a game and my Dad had a liltle 5 minute family home evening on Gratitude when the whole family gets togather my dad always gives a little spiritual message usally only 2 to 5 minutes thats about the attention span we have when all 35 of us get togather. It was really nice and was on gratitude. Thanks Mom and Dad for the wonderful dinner.

UTAH byu GAME

Paul took the boy's to the BIG GAME. So Brittany, Chloe and Bo had a BIG FOOTBALL party here. Brittany invited her friends Chloe and her cousin Elle and Bo all to the PARTY and we decorated the house and had a TON of TREATS! This is really FUN because most of the friends here are byu fans and its FUNNY because look who WON!!!! Anyway Brittany had a bet with her friend Brandon who is a total byu fan and now he has to wear U stuff to school on MONDAY!!!! WOO HOO! There was a TON of CHEERING and a lot of RIVALARY going on which made it like we were there at the game!!!!!! AGAIN what a PARTY!!!!!!

Lehi Smiths Grand Opening

I know I am CRAZY but I was up early to take Brittany to CHEER bright and EARLY, so I decided to go to the GRAND OPENING I could not believe it but I was one of the first 300 customers so I got a FREE carton of eggs, a package of muffins, sausage and a 1/2 Gal. Orange juice. Breakfast for tomorrow woo hoo!!!!! I also came home with 20 boxes of cereal I got for under a dollar because my cute friend gave me some coupons! I also came home with milk and bread for .99 cents. because I was one of the first customers I got a couple coupons for and extra 50% of sale price in aparrell so I came back with Paul after he got home from work and we went and stocked up on more GREAT deals in groceries, bought Britt a pair of boots, Riley basketball shoes, basketball pants and Bryce some snow boots all shoes and pants = to be about 15.00 each DEAL! because we spent over a 100.00 worth of groceries and apparel we got .30 cents of our gas witch came out to be 1.46 a gal! YEP NOW THAT WAS ALL WORTH IT!!! Oh yeah I was even there for the ribbon cutting and the presentation of the Mayor and the LEHI high school band! Here is some pictures. I always carry my camera.

Brittany cheered at the Legacy Center with all the LEHI and Willowcreek schools 6th grate thru 9th graders. Brittanys cheer squad couldnt make it so she and a few friends on her sqaud did a STUNT routine it was AWESOME! That is Brittany that you see Flying High in the sky. And YES it does make me nervous but at the same time it is really FUN to watch her. Most of all Brittany LOVES IT!!! Grandma and Grandpa Dunroe and Aunt Heather and Max came all the way from Sandy just to see a 2minute performance for Britt. What support!!! We LOVE you guys!!!!

After the Thanksgiving Party Lisa, Brittany and Whitney and I went to the Christmas EXPO, Paul gave us all some money to spend including Lisa. Right when we walked in the door to the EXPO we saw these CUTE hats, so we each bought one. They are way CUTE!!!! After the Expo we went to get a treat though the drive through at CHICK Filet and look BUSTED LISA can you believe she has an ice-cream cone in one hand and a sandwich in the other! I just thought that it was FUNNY!!! Also Lisa I am just getting you back from the post where I got salad dressing all over my FACE!!!! Hey anyway that was a GOOD time! Thanks a BUNCH!!!!

Bunker Thanksgiving PARTY

Every year the BUNKER Family gets together and has Thanksgiving dinner A couple weeks before thanksgiving. this year we were in-charge of putting it together, so how BLESSED are we to have CHRIS in the family. He catered the whole dinner including pies and Jaime did the tables. Way to go guy's it was DELICIOUS! I was really good at deligating and Lisa did games, Paul was in-charge of getting the word out. Something special we did for grandpa this year was that everyone wrote him a letter and we presented it to him in a box so he will always be able to know how much his family LOVE him.

UTAH, TCU BLACK OUT game

Brittany got an A out of Drivers Ed

Brittany had to do an assignment for Drivers Ed. The assignment was to sit at a 4 way stop for one hour and take notes on what people did.Britt and her friends picked the 4-way stop by our house. They looked so CUTE out there in their chairs taking notes that I had to take a picture. She said she saw a lot of people from our neighborhood talking on their phones and stopping in front of the stop sign instead of behind it. She came home and told me that me and my friends need to take the class because we dont know how to drive! Guess what girls, we have kids watching us, we better be good examples.

Oh yeah!!!! Girls Night Out!!! Brittany and I took Chloe and a couple of her friends to see HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. It was so much FUN!!! We each took a purse filled with our left-over Halloween candy and loaded our purses and of course I popped my own popcorn because the popcorn at the theater is not WW friendly, anyway we bought drinks there and popcorn and then woo hoo are movie started. It was FUN to watch the girls faces during the show they were giggling and every time Troy Bolton came on girls in the audience just cheered! It was so much FUN! I LOVE being a GIRL! On the way home the girls just talked about there favorite parts. Chloe and Britt can't wait to get the sound track.

Spoiled Rotten

Paul and I took Chloe shopping for cloths and boots today because she has grown so much since last year that none of her warm cloths fit her. Well we were just going to get her a couple things but we had so much FUN shopping with her and she was so CUTE that Paul had to keep buying (he really loves to spoil his girls) well anyway 300 dollars later Chloe had her winter wardrobe, we came home and she modeled everyone of her NEW outfits even a NEW coat! Chloe you are well worth it and very FUN to shop with. She had the BIGGEST SMILE on her face all the way home.

Bo's Play Group

I LOVE having Bo's friends over for play group they are such a good group of kid's and they all get along so well together. I am so blessed to be surrounded by such good friends and have my kids surrounded by such good friends. Today they played cars and trucks for a while and then we all made playdough. They seem to have a good time and I was happy just watching the creative things they made.

We had family Home evening with Mark and Lisa and their kids, Paul and I made dinner and Pumpkin Pie for the treat and Lisa gave the Lesson. She did a great job in bringing the spirit in our home the lesson was about peer pressure perfect for what teenagers and some of the elementary kids may or are going through. The kids really got into the activity and reading in their scriptures. Bryce conducted and Chloe and Bo led us in the song. It was fun spending time with them and having them share FHE with us.

Halloween Party

This Halloween Brittany and Riley had a Party at our home with a whole houseful of kids and Paul and I ended up having our friends join in on the FUN too! It did'nt seem to bother the teen's. Paul made Chili and Potatoe cheese soup, We had homemade rolls and rootbeer thanks to my friend Leslie. It was such great weather that the kids played basketball, trick or treated played Rockband and ate and ate. We all ended up having a FUN time as always, We the adults played a little liars die, and My other friend Jennycame over with her husband to because someone at there house was trick or treating and got all of his fingers cut off so she brought them over for us to eat! (hotdogs wrapped up in thin tortilla strips with catchup) I thought they looked gross but the kids seem to LOVE them! OOOOOOO Anyway HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

Well there's nothing like keeping the tradition so we ended up carving pumpkins at 9:30p.m. The night before Halloween. we had to wait for everyone to get home from there sporting practices. Haunted House for Family Home Evening

What are we CRAZY! Of Course we are! Paul and I took the kids to the Haunted House for FHE what a place to bring the spirit (NOT!!!) Chloe cried Bo was sqeezing Pauls hand the whole time and the other kids were having FUN trying to SCARE me. It totally worked! Well the other kids loved every minute of it, Chloe not so much. She ended up in our bed all night. When she woke up in the morning we asked her if she liked the Haunted house, she said yes and I said then why did you cry and she said she didnt know what to expect but next time she would. Anyway we had fun being togather.

I said it once and I will say it again! This is one of my favorite things I look forward too! I dont know if its because I want a doll or I just love to plan and do this for my girls. I did this for Brittany when she was little and now this is my last girl so I hope she decides to continue this clup till she graduates from High School (lol) My friend Pam helped me make these DARLING pumpkin outfits for the dolls and then the girls made Haunted houses out of graham crackers and decorated them with halloween candy. Every year we just sit around the table, eat and chat but this year I don't know if its because I'm 40 but we were all talking about aches and pains and doctor appts. we need to set up and I was joining in with them telling them about my left eye and how I cant see out of it! Football season was really Fun this year because we could actuall sit on the bleachers and watch Britt cheer! Brittany you are so FUN to watch and also very CUTE!!! I have to admit this took up a lot of time and driving back and forth to all the different golf clubs but I have to say it was sure worth it! Riley played awesome he was always in the top three on his team. Coach O'Conner we are going to miss you. Riley ended the season lettering in golf as a 9th grader very impressive Riley! Riley's wrist still hurt from his first tournament so I took him in to urgent care, they took an Xray and sure enough it was broke the doc showed us on the xray and told Riley he wouldnt be able to golf for at least six weeks and we would have to come back on thursday when the swelling goes down and they will cast it. Riley came home really down because he wanted to play golf so bad!!! My CUTE little RILEY said a prayer that Heavenly Father would heal his wrist so he could play. We went back on thursday to get his wrist cast and they took another Xray and found that it was totally better!!!! Talk about a MIRACLE!!!! Needless to say it was a special experience that we shared as a family and Riley along with all of us gained a stong testimony of PRAYER. He Never missed out on a Golf tournement.

Byu education week

It really takes a lot of energy to do something that I really want to do, But I noticed this week it is always worth it. This week I went to BYU education week and took some classes with my friends. It was the first week of school but it all seemed to work. We left at 7:30am and got home at 2:15 when our kids got home from school so to them it didnt even seem like I was gone but to me it took a whole week of getting up early to get my kids ready and me and oh yeah remember my commitment I made to my kids (breakfast in the morn) I dont know how but I managed. I think this week I learned that when your trying to be a better person and help your family I believe Heavenly Father will help me. And this week I learned so much it made me realize that sacrifice and teaching, being, and helping your kids make you happy. Its true I guess at least for this week I managed to get the things done that I wanted. One amazing thing , I learned that I would like to add in my family is that really I only need one rule for our family and that is FOLLOW the PRophet. Mom can I date before I'm 16? What does the prophet say? Mom that movie isnt that bad its R but its a history movie. What does the Prophet say? This is my kind of RULE I dont have to be the BAD guy I can just say you want to get to Heaven? Than FOLLOW THE PROPHET!!! Has any of the Prophets led us astray and dont they always know in advance what will happen? Look at Noah! Anyway it was very inspiring and nice to spend time with my SPECIAL friends.

O.K. Want to know how our 1st day of school started? Well I woke everyone up at 6:00 a.m. oh yeah you heard right!!! kids showered and got ready for school except Bryce, Bo and Paul who were sluffing remember they are HUNTING!!!! anyway while the other kids were getting ready for school I was making a hot breakfast for my kids (I know shocker huh) but its true I made a commitment to my family that I would make a warm breakfast every morning this year for them, I know I'm NUTS but hey always trying to get that MOM of the YEAR award (JK) I made German Pancakes with Riley's homemade buttermilk syrup YUM, YUM!!!! anyway it was nice and then off to school my CUTE AWESOME KIDS went off to school which I think this year we got ripped off our summer was way to short!!!! anyway Britt started 10th grade 1st day of HIGH SCHOOL, Riley started 9th Grade last year of JUNIOR HIGH and Rocky is in the 5th GRADE, Chloe 1st GRADE and will be gone all day Kind of sad about that she was Fun to hang with but she was excited to eat LUNCH at school. I guess Bryce will have his 1st day tomorrow when he gets home from HUNTING and Bo starts Pre-school next week. All day FUNNY but TRUE I missed my kids so I kept going to there schools and SPIED on them! YOu heard right I walked by Britts class, she caught me but was COOL with it. Went by the elementry ran into my friend JENN who was doing the same thing. Do I have to much time on my hands? Anyway LOVE my kids. and I am excited that they are excited for school this year!!!!!

Rileys 1st golf tournament (Varsity)

August 4th Riley tried out for the high school Golf team and ended up making the Varsity team as a ninth grader. We are so excited for him, he had his first Golf tournament today at 1:30 at River Oaks golf Course in Sandy. It was a CRAZY day though. Let me tell you it started out as I was getting in the car Riley and Rocky were chasing each other around the driveway and Riley slipped and fell on his wrist! I asked Riley if he was o.k. he said yeah Mom I'm fine just hurry we need to get to my bus so I can be on time to the tourny I knew Riley was kind of nervous but I also knew he was hurt, he kept holding his wrist but he wanted to play in this tourny so I let him go. well we got him to his bus on time and came home he called me and said that his wrist killed so I took him ice IBprophen and icyhot. Then I took Rocky and Chloe to the mall the other kids were hunting with Paul and Britt was at a cheer party with her friends (WHATEVER) Anyway as soon as we get to the mall we get a text from Riley saying that his driver just split in half and he is teeing off in 20 min, I text him back asking him what he wants me to do and never replied. So I called my brother in laws who by the way are awesome golfers told me to rent one from the club house so thats what I did! Anyway with all that RILEY tied for SECOND place on his TEAM!! Chloe, Rocky and I sat up chairs and watched the tornament. I took pictures at the end and everyone was giving me a hrd time but I know these pictures I will treasure forever!!!!!

Today was the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER and who would of thought it would be so much FUN turning 40? I woke up of course to the chicks which one was really a HEN and the other a ROOSTER (cockadoo doole doo) I found out who it was though it was my friend Nadine and I cant wait to get her back she turns 50 on the 12th. anyway I slept in Paul took Britt to cheer and when she got back at 8:30 the kids seved me breakfast in bed Rocky made the scrammbled eggs they were yummy!!!! then the surprised me with money to go shopping for the day so Britt Chloe and I went to Gateway I bought about six outfits and then we went to lunch at RUMBI, then went to Lavilla Salon to get glitter toes and pedicures (part of my present) it was FUN doing it with my girls! Then we came home and Paul had 40 roses for me wow you could smell them when you walked in the house they are beautiful!!! Then Paul took me to the CHEFS table it was so YUMMY I had macadamia nut halibut then Paul asked if I wanted to go to a movie and I said lets take all of the kids so we came home to get the kids and woola SUrPRISE all my friends and family were at my home to celebrate my Birthday! I am so grateful for my friends and family they mean alot to me. I am also thankful for Brittany for all the hard work she put into planning the PARTY Paul and the kids were involved too but brittany was the captain, my boys worked hard too while the girls were out shopping with me the boys were working hard getting things done in the yard and house and went shopping with Paul to get things ready for the surprise. I know they worked hard and I appreciate them and love them so much!!! thanks Babe and kids.

Oh well today was a grumpy day for me and on the other hand very inbarrasing too! OK I will just get it out!!! Today all day I thought it was my birthday and all day not one person said happy birthday to me. Its funny but it made me grumpy I was very short with my kids and felt bad all day! I even went to my sister Hollys and hung out finally I said oh my gosh today is my birthday she said no its not its tomorrow. Tonight at family prayers I told Paul and the kids I was sorry for being so grumpy to them today and I told them why and they cracked up laughing. I must be turning 40 well tomorrow anyway! The kids just came downstairs while I was typing this blog and said Mom someone just dropped something on our sidewalk ok its 11:00 at night ( I know my computer says a different time power went out yesterday and I need Paul to fix it) anyway like I said Its 11:00pm I go look out on the sidewalk and theres this....... Chicken in a cage and a sign that says this chick turned 40 (very FUNNY)!!!!! Needless to say I did need a laugh today!!!! but what in the heck am I going to do with a chicken! An OLD chicken??? Anyone for ideas???

Baseball tournement and Tiger Party

Today was really FUN!!! It all started with 10:00 and 12:00 games in Spanish Fork for Bryce which by the way his team won both games and Bryce played awesome!!!! After we hoped on over to Rileys games which were in Heber at 12:30. After the game which they lost, sad because it was there last game to play together as a team because look out its High school ball now. We have loved the tigers and all there parents and families I guess after playing on the team for 6 years we have all pretty much extended our families. We ended the season with a PARTY at Deer Creek. My Dad who pretty much I can ask him to do anything for me he does. I called him last night at 10:00 pm (not kidding) to ask him if he would take the team boating the next day and the Tidwells did the same thing they took there boat up too. I know I am a last minute PARTY animal but it takes good friends and family to help me pull it together. Needless to say we all had a GREAT TIME! LOVE YOU TIGERS!!!!! I will MISS YOU!!!!

It was a great time Bryce recieved 3 belt loops and we had hot dogs and chips for dinner. I cheated and went to Artic Circle and got me a taco salad. Once a month Pauls family gets together on a Sunday to have dinner. Every month each one of her kids are in charge today it was Chris and Jaime and they decided to have it up farmington canyon it was fun and beautiful! Chris made dutch oven bbq beef sandwiches, potatoes and for desert we had peach pineapple cobbler it was delicious!!!! I do have to say the highlight of the night was when Mark forgot to bring little Markis shoes so Grandma Kia made some by scratch using the inside sole of Marks shoe and used a cassette tape (well the tape inside the cassette) for the laces. Grandma saved the day!!! Also it was fun to watch Chris and Jaimies kids by the time they had to go you couldnt tell who they were with all the dirt on their faces. Anyway I had a great time and also enjoyed talking with Grandma T. I cant believe she is 95. She is very FUN and still loves a PARTY now thats my kind of girl!!!!

Lehi 26th ward Summer COOL off PARTY

Paul and I got called a few months ago to serve over the ACTIVITIES in our ward. Today was our first PARTY. We had a Summer COOL off PARTY theme, I called everyone in our ward this morning to remind them to take a nap today so they would be ready for a late night PARTY!!!! So this is what we did... We met at the Lehi Pool, from 7:00-9:00pm we served whole made ice-cream, chatted and played games. At 9:00-11:00pm we had the whole POOL and SLIDE to ourselves. I am so thankful for the poeple on our committee they are awesome and alway's seem to follow through it's such a busy time for all of us. But hey look how FUN it turned out.

Bryce not only plays for the Lehi Tigers but he also has been playing on the Marlins team. They have been playing really well. Bryce has been playing catch and short stop. He did not have any errors!! Bryce knows this game and LOVES it, When up to bat he usually gets walked or he hits it right to the pitcher. (something he needs to work on) But Bryce is very smart and is very good at stealing bases. Bryce you ROCK!!!!! They lost there last game before the finals by 1 run!!!!

But the cousins they are little fish that swim non stop. In the years past my mom usuall makes sandwiches for lunch we go through about 3 loaves of bread this year she has just been ordering pizza the kids are getting older and they love that!! My sisters and I try to pay her for that but she says she likes to do this. I am so thankful for a FUN mom she is a Awesome GRANDMA and loves to be around her kids. Mom thanks for dedicating your time to us we all LOVE you and do appreciate the FUN times you make for us!!!!!!

Kids appreciation week

Paul and I have been busy the last couple weeks going to Omaha, and working on the float for the Parade and the kids had to cook dinner and step it up a little and help Paul and I with our chores. SO we decided to give our kids a week off this week to show them our appreciation so this whole week they didnt have to do any chores Paul and I have been doing all of there chores. I dont remember the last time I have had to take the garbage out, and I havent seen Paul have to mow the lawn. I think I take for granted the things my kids do! I really noticed the things they do to help keep our house organized and clean. Thank you kid's for all you do you truely are a blessing in our family, and I LOVE you all a ton!!!!!

Bryce's Heber Valley Baseball Tournement

Bryce has been playing in a baseball tournament Thursday through Saturday in Park City and Heber. They have played AWESOME!!!!! They lost the 1st game by one run in overtime and have won the next three. They played another game on Saturday and lost. But we had a GREAT time and we are so thankful for support of family even Great Grandma T came all the way to Heber to watch Bryce play Ball she just turned 95. After the team had a bbq we have a great team and great parents. Hey I forgot to tell you the night before the game Bryce slept over at his Coach's house and he shaved the kids BALD!!! Look at Bryce he's a CUTIE!!!!!

I LOVE the 4th of July I am so grateful to live in this wonderful Country and celebrate the freedom that we have. We have a tradition every 4th that we play baseball in the mornings than meet at Mom and Dads at 4:00 for swimming and a BBQ then we all head over to the Sandy fireworks. But this year our games didnt start until 4:00 so they had the party without out us. But Know matter what our family seems to pull it together and we were able to meet up for the fireworks! It's always great to celebrate holidays with family!

Brittany's Cheer Camp

Brittany Woke up at 6:45 started combing her hair and then screamed wow that sure got me out of bed. I quickly went in to see what was wrong and she heard a big pop, it was her neck. Now if you know Brittany she does not complain and scream very often so I new this was serious! Paul helped Brittany in the car and I took her to Dr. Campbell. He is amazing!!!! She could not move still and we tried to get some pain medicine in her so he could start working on her but she couldnt even take a drink so I ran to the store and got her a straw. The whole time she was in pain she was worried that she would'nt make the bus to camp at 8:00 am But for some awesome reason (PRAYER) Paul was able to meet at Dr. Campbells while I went back home to pack the rest of her stuff. Paul was able to get her to the bus on time with her team but I on the other hand got stranded in the Honda the nuts came off my tire, can you say CRAZY!!!!!! Well because of all the Chaos Paul had left his phone home so I did'nt get a hold of him on time to take Britt her bags so I ended up having to drive to the U of U to get Britt her bags. The funny thing is that even though little bumps get in my way if I pray they seem to work out! Britt ended up having a GREAT time at camp She had family and friends come to see her perform. She was especially happy to see her Uncle Joe from Georgia. Our family is sure awesome to support us. we love you!!!!! Oh I forgot to tell you the BEST part Britt team took 1st place in ALL three categories. Brittany performed by herself and made All Stars this means she has the oppertunity to perform in London this year! way to go Brittany!!!!!

Rodeo

We went to the Lehi Rodeo with the Sehestedts this year and had a GREAT TIME!!!! It started off at the Charly's BBQ in Lehi on State they had a band and AWESOME food!!! Then we went to the Rodeo. A bull went CRAZY or was that a horse? I dont know what ever it was it went CRAZY and flipped dirt on us!!!! We stayed after for a little while and watched the BULLS paul spanked one of them on the but and I swear it almost came out the fence. Lesson learned DO NOT SPANK A BULL!!!!!!! Got home at Mid-Night WOW! What a day!!!!!!!!1

Float

WHAT! Paul and I in-charge of a float are you kidding? Paul and I got called to be in charge of the activities and the float in our ward, We have an AWESOME committee and a FUN one too! We got called to put together a float for Rodeo days in Lehi for our ward the week school got out. We had 4 weeks to organize build and put it together Paul was out of town one of the weeks on a golf trip and Riley and I went to Omaha but I am happy to say it is WAY WAY CUTE!!!!! Like I said our committee is incredible!!!!!!! Our Float was FOOTLOOSE because it was filmed here in Lehi. Brittany and Whitney taught the Primary kids a dance and let me tell you it was awesome!!!! We had a great time getting Jiggy in the Parade!!!!!! The kids were great and a few little ones sat in the shoe and through our candy!

Rocky's 11 years old

Rockys Birthday started at 10:00 a.m. with his favorite cereal right now it is lego my ego cereal I started this tradition this year they get the whole box to themselves. Then we went to Seven Peaks with the Fox's from St. George and Riley took a few of his friends and Aunt Lisa and her kids met us there too!!!!! we had a blast ! We sang Happy Birthday to Rocky and had Frosted Cookies!!!!! Oh but wait his birthday didnt end there after we came home an changed and took him to Panda to eat, his favorite place. Oh it even gets better then we went and saw the Movie HULK!!!! his birthday ended that night at midnight. For his Birthday he got Roller Blades and a NEW basketball. Rocky I LOVE you!!!!!!

Riley's Tigers team took 1st place in the RMSBB baseball tournament last weekend! Way to go Riley!!! They played 3 games that day in the heat!!!!! It was a great day for all of us to watch we had a great crowed and some CUTE cheerleaders too!!!!!
